Reading The Remarried Empress in vertical scroll has its own magic, but seeing the manhwa lined up on a shelf is a completely different pleasure. Planeta Cómic has now launched its Spanish edition, while Ize Press continues the English print series.
This guide brings together the confirmed Spanish books, the official English catalog, and the details worth checking before you choose an edition. No story spoilers, and no mixing up the manhwa with Alphatart’s original prose novel.
Table of Contents
The Spanish print edition
Planeta Cómic publishes the Spanish edition in its manhwa collection. As of August 24, 2026, its official catalog lists two books:
The Remarried Empress nº 01
- Publication date: June 10, 2026.
- Format: paperback with flaps, 14.8 × 21 cm.
- Length: 256 pages.
- ISBN: 979-13-87920-35-7.
- Spanish translation: Laura Vicente Díaz.
Readers in Spain can find it through our Amazon.es affiliate link: The Remarried Empress nº 01. The fan project may receive a small commission if you buy through this link, at no extra cost to you.
The Remarried Empress nº 02
- Announced publication date: September 2, 2026.
- Format: paperback with flaps, 14.8 × 21 cm.
- Length: 264 pages.
- ISBN: 979-13-88100-63-5.
- Spanish translation: Laura Vicente Díaz.
Planeta still marks volume 2 as “Coming Soon” and has also included The Remarried Empress in its official September 2026 manga and manhwa announcement. Its publication date has not arrived yet, so the publisher’s official volume page remains the safest place to watch for changes.
Are these books the novel or the webtoon?
They are print editions of the manhwa, the illustrated adaptation familiar to WEBTOON readers. They are not translations of Alphatart’s original prose web novel.
The mix-up is completely understandable because both formats share the same title and characters. If you want the original written version, visit our Naver Series novel guide. If the digital comic is more your style, our WEBTOON guide is the place to start.
The English edition from Ize Press
Ize Press publishes the English manhwa. Its official series page currently lists volumes 1 through 11 and credits Alphatart, Sumpul, and HereLee, with Shirley Chen as letterer.
A catalog listing does not mean every book has the same release status or availability in every country. Open the individual volume pages to check dates, formats, and retailer links for your region. We are linking the official Ize Press catalog instead of guessing at Amazon.es stock.
Which edition should you choose?
- Spanish: ideal if you want to read in Spanish and join a collection that has only just begun.
- English: it has more volumes listed and may feel natural if you already follow the English WEBTOON.
- Digital: still the quickest way to move through the story without waiting for each print release.
We would choose based on language, shelf space, and how quickly you want to read. Collecting the books is lovely; racing through WEBTOON episodes has its own charm too.
