Who is Sovieshu?
Sovieshu is married to Navier at the beginning of the story. They have both grown up within court life, and duty is woven through their relationship. Everything shifts when he returns with Rashta, brings her into palace life, and eventually asks Navier for a divorce. WEBTOON’s official synopsis places that request at the center of the premise and Navier’s famous response.
Sovieshu’s key relationships
- Navier Ellie Trovi: his wife and empress at the start. Their shared history and responsibilities are undermined by a breakdown in trust and communication.
- Rashta: the young woman he brings to court and protects, changing both the private and political balance of the palace.
- Heinrey: a neighboring prince who becomes decisive to Navier’s future and a political as well as personal rival.
Why Sovieshu is more than “Navier’s ex”
His mistakes come from what he does and what he assumes he can control. Sovieshu tries to separate state decisions from emotional consequences, only to discover that a court also runs on trust, reputation, and people with plans of their own. That blindness is frustrating, but it also makes him a useful character for thinking about power and responsibility.
